Purpose of the Royal Rangers Ministry
To evangelize boys for Christ
To develop the total boy for Christ.
(spiritually, physically, mentally and socially)
To keep boys in our churches

Our Aim for Royal RangersTo instruct, challenge and inspire our boys in the areas of Bible doctrine, Christian service, moral conduct and basic beliefs of our church through interesting activities boys enjoy.
Our Goals
  1. To instruct in Bible Doctrine. When a boy participates in Royal Rangers, he should have a basic knowledge of what the Bible teaches.
  2. To challenge for Christian service. When a boy completes this program he should be ready to take his place in the area of Christian service where God wants him to be.
  3. To inspire a belief in the fundamental beliefs of our church. When a boy completes this program he should be Christian in belief for the remainder of his life.
  4. To satisfy the boy's basic need for activity. A boy engaged in this program should have enough interesting activities to do to prevent him from being tempted to engage in unwholesome activities.

Royal Rangers - This group is for young boys that will grow mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually in the Lord. This class will include memorization, devotionals, outdoor and camping activities. Meets Wednesdays at  7:00 pm

CALLED BY HIM FOR HIM Youth Ministries is an exciting ministry for youth ages 11 - 21.  There is so much to be involved in!  Fun trips and activities, hanging out and having great fellowship with other Christians and learning about our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  CALLED BY HIM FOR HIM Youth Ministries also has small groups and weekly services in which will encourage the youth in their daily walk with God.  Youth Services are on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM, and Life Groups meet on Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM.  Come out, make some friends and be blessed!

The heart of a student must be guarded and fought for in these and other areas:

  1. Spiritual - Having a deep intimate relationship with Jesus and others.
  2. Physical - Hanging out with each other and connecting with each other in order to help fight temptation.  This happens as we grow deeper on a personal level with each other and God.
  3. Mental - Equipping students that will not try to conform to today's society but live the Christ-like life God has for them.
  4. Emotional - Helping them connect with a leader or trusted friend for accountability.  Providing encouragment and a safe place for spiritual growth.
It's all about RELATIONSHIP . . . building relationships with others helps us stand and fight temptation.  Building a relationship with God helps us feel like we matter and have a purpose. Our Heart is to raise up students that can be active and successful leaders. Grounded in their relationship with God and real in their relationship with God and others.

To encourage those in our Fellowship who are 50 and over to participate in activities that foster spiritual growth and health, age-level educational pursuits, evangelistic outreach, and wholesome fellowship events. To promote strong focal points of need so that people may be involved in an area that interests them.
Matthew 20:28
“Even as the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many.”  Relational needs will be addressed in many ways including; prayer and worship activities, meetings, events, trips, programs, and other areas where Senior Adult Ministries can be of assistance.
  1. This wonderfully adventurous group enjoys day trips, concerts, picnics, potluck dinners, fishing, fellowship, and much more.
  2. Our express ministry not only plays together but prays together while supporting each other in a times of need.
The Purpose of Senior Adult Ministries is Threefold  To Bring People to Christ
  • To bring people to Jesus Christ, and to bring Christians to a closer, more intimate relationship with Him.
To Minister
  • Minister to the relational needs of the local church congregation.
  • To serve as a vehicle for interaction among the people of this congregation.
To Encourage Others to Minister
  • To encourage commitment to ministry in God’s kingdom. A light should not be kept under a bushel, but used to the continued service and glory of the Lord.
  • To maintain the identity of people with regard to their continued value as vital parts of the body of Christ; to recognize their value in terms of wisdom, experience, knowledge, talents, and other God given abilities and gifts.

You will understand the Bible better in a small group.  If you've ever listened to a Bible teacher or preacher and wanted to stop that person and say, "But what about...?" or "I don't understand," then a small group is for you! Preaching and teaching is one way communication. You listen while the speaker speaks. It's fine for imparting knowledge but not as effective for personal application as a small group. In a small group setting, you can ask questions, participate in a discussion of the text, and hear others share insights and illustrations of the truth you are trying to grasp. The Bible must be applied to your own personal situations and that happens best in small groups.
  1. You will begin to really feel like part of God's family.  Most people who have been a part of a group say the greatest benefit is the close relationships and friendships that develop. They will frequently telephone each other during the week to share an urgent prayer request or an exciting answer. You'll discover that your needs and problems are not unique ~ we're all in the same boat. It helps to know that others are facing the same difficulties, or have lived through them and learned spiritual principles in the process.
  2. Prayer will become more meaningful to you. Many people are hesitant to pray in front of others, especially in a large church. In a small group of 6 to 12, you will learn to participate in prayer by having a conversation together with God. No one is pressured to pray, but as you become comfortable, you'll be able to pray sentence prayers and join in. There are many promises in the Bible related to group prayer. In praying together with a few others, we are drawn together and we find answers to the needs in our lives.
  3. You will be able to handle stress and pressure better.  Small groups provide excellent support in times of crisis, change, and stress. You'll have a sense of stability and security knowing there are people who really care for you and are committed to standing with you.
  4. You will have a natural way to share Christ with friends, relatives, and work associates.  It may be that some of your friends who don´t I know the Lord wouldn't be caught dead in a church. They have a preconceived idea and just the thought makes them defensive. But those same people may be open to an invitation to a casual Bible discussion in a home or office setting. In a small group, your unbelieving friend can ask questions and express honest doubts without feeling "put on the spot". When your friend sees the love and warmth and honesty of your group, it will make him more receptive to the Good News.
  5. You will develop leadership skills you never knew you had!The Bible teaches that every believer is given certain talents or "gifts" to benefit others in the family of God.  Unfortunately most Christians remain as Sunday morning spectators all their lives because large group meetings are primarily "sit and listen" situations. As you share and participate in a relaxed small group setting, you'll discover your confidence and self-esteem rising. This will help you at work, at church, and in every other relationship.
  6. You will deepen your understanding of worship.  Many believers mistakenly believe that worship can only happen on Sunday morning in a large group with a sermon, a choir, and an offering plate! Worship happens anytime we focus on God. Sometimes that happens best in a smaller group in praying or singing together.
  7. You will be a New Testament Christian!  The book of Acts is very clear about how God intends for His people to grow and have their needs met in the church. We will never be able to hire enough professional pastors to meet all the individual needs in our family. God never intended for it to be that way!
